For World Mental Health Day (10th October), we learnt about the 'five ways to wellbeing.' One of these is to 'learn a new skill.' Together, we explored the artworks of a local artist, Eileen Bell, and focused on one of her artworks which used charcoal. We discovered that charcoal is great for bold lines, blending tones and creating expressive artworks. This art gallery displays our experimenting and creating using charcoal whilst being mindful about our feelings.
