Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children in our community. We also expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment by helping us to establish a safe environment, practicing safer recruitment when checking staff and volunteers to work with children, and developing and implementing procedures for safeguarding.

Please speak to our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Paul Sainsbury, or the Deputy Safeguarding Leads Emily Downing, Lucy Durham or Marie Soroczyn if you are concerned about the safety of a child. Alternatively you can contact Geoff Mountjoy, the Trustee in charge of Safeguarding.

The Designated Leads will ask you to record your concerns and they will take the necessary action, which may include contacting Social Care through the Single Point of Access (SPA). You can find Safeguarding information leaflets at the office, if you would like more information.

If these Designated Leads are not available/it is out of school hours you must ring:

Social Care Intake Team on 01275 888808

Or you can contact the Police on 999 in an emergency.
