What do I do if my child is unwell?

Please report all absences by 9am to absence@birdwellschool.co.uk or by calling 01275 392496, option 1. Please tell us your child's name, their class (or teacher), symptoms and when they are expected to be back in school.

 

If your child has sickness or diarrhoea, they must stay at home for 48 hours after the last episode. We politely request that you do not bring them into school before 48 hours have elapsed as we will not allow them to stay.
 
If your child has sickness or diarrhoea at school, we will contact you for you to collect them and you will need to keep them at home for 48 hours.
