At the end of the year you will receive a report that details whether your child is working:
- Towards the Expected standard
- At the Expected standard
- At Greater Depth within the Expected standard
We make these judgements in Year 1, 3, 4 and 5 using the following documents with key indicators of the expectations for each year group.
At Year 2 - the end of Key Stage 1 - children's reading, writing, maths and science attainment is judged against the Teacher Assessment Framework.
At Year 6 - the end of Key Stage 2 - children's writing and science attainment is judged against the Teacher Assessment Framework. Year 6 children sit reading, maths and spelling, punctuation and grammar tests. The results of these are shared with you, indicating whether they have performed at the Expected Standard for the end of Key Stage 2.
